I've been listening to a lot of P.A.L. lately, usually during my morning run. All the hammering metal-on-metal rhythmic noise influenced this art piece big time. Or maybe it's just sometimes you gotta paint a big robot. I dunno.

All reference came from my own stock.

Reminds me of Macross without wings on the body awesome .. Or umm But the arms and legs kinda reminds me of Dynames (Gundam OO)

Nice work Josh, just out of interest, how do you put your paintings together? do you use fairly detailed line work before apply colour? also make use of textures at all? That's something I'm planning on trying but am still sussing it out

Great image, really captured the sense of an urban war zone as well with all the dust and smoke everywhere, great assault rifle detail on the figure in the foreground too. :-)

Woah this looks sick man! Love the grey orangeish tone here man, very war torn maybe half post nuclear apocalyptic. Very good atmosphere.
