How long does this take from start to finish, on average?

On average a page take anywhere from two to three days, depending on how complex it is. This one had a lot lof 3D in it, along with a lot of soldiers in full gear (geared up troops take FOREVER to do)...so this page was probably took a little over three sessions.

Wow! That's pretty speedy considering all that has to go into something like that! Most comics put that much detail into the COVERS if you're lucky!

By the way, I got a copy of Titanium Rain volume 1 in hardcover while I was at C2E2.

I'll read it this week for sure.

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
"You ever wonder?" Helio asked.
